Listen up students! Its Festival time!

Festival season is upon us! A chance to rock some insane fashion trends, have fun with friends while listening to your favourite tunes – what’s not to love? It’s a time for students to reboot their routines, and distract themselves into a different kind of reality for a while!

The UK festival scene has so much to offer and with a variety of choices, there’s much more than just music, meaning you can dance the night away or enjoy a more relaxed vibe.

There’s a world of reasons that students should visit music festivals and here are our top 5:

  1. The Fashion – it’s a huge party and it’s the perfect excuse to step out in true style. You can quite literally wear whatever you want without a care in the world!
  2. The Connections – music festivals are a great chance to find not only like-minded people but also real friends. Thousands of people gather for such events and bring positive energy, and most of the audience are students who are usually willing to communicate with each other.
  3. The Satisfaction – studies have found that any social events related to music increase the level of satisfaction in life, so it’s a great opportunity to relieve stress and take a break from exams and coursework.
  4. The Freedom – music fans love festivals so much is that there is no damnation from society. The audience at such events enjoys music, dancing, and singing and an opportunity to experience freedom.
  5. The Music – live entertainment is like no other.

UK music promoter Festival Republic co-owns and co-produces music festivals, and are a brand partner of Redbus Media Group, having run campaigns on our university network of D6s, for several years. We are currently running ads for Wireless, Reading and Leeds Festivals 2023, with these events recognising the significance of targeting students.

Brands can reach over 2m students across a two-week period, with our network of university digital 6 sheets. Get in touch if you’d like to chat.
